Dr. Juliet N. Sekandi
Founder/Director
Dr. Sekandi is a medical and public health professional with over 20 years’ experience working in the health system. She conducts research that generates solutions to improve service delivery in Uganda.
Her mission is to contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve the health, education and the economic well-being of underserved people especially in rural Uganda.
Mrs. Christine Muhumuza
Founder/Director
Mrs. Christine Muhumuza, is an expert in health services research and economic evaluation at Makerere University, Uganda with over 15 years of experience working in public health. She is passionate about partnering with families and communities in rural settings to improve their physical, psychosocial, health and economic development status.

Dr. Nathan Nshakira
Board Member/Strategic Planning
Nathan Nshakira is a Christian medical doctor and public health consultant, based at Kabale University as a Lecturer and Research Associate; active in governance of church development services in Uganda and other countries in sub Saharan Africa.
Dr. Emmanuel Luyirika
Board Member
Dr Luyirika is the Executive Director of African Palliative Care Association (APCA) in Uganda. He holds a bachelor of medicine degree from Makerere University, a masters degree in Family Medicine from the Medical University of Southern Africa, and has conducted research focusing on issues around HIV among school-going teenagers.
Mrs. Patti Smith
Board Member /Secretary
Patti Smith has been in the mental health and counseling field for 15 years specializing in trauma and substance use disorders. She has a heart for the people of Uganda and has recently committed her life to coming alongside other workers in this country.

Balitumye Felix, is an accomplished ICT 4 Development specialist & Digital Health Consultant with a foundation Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science from Makerere University and currently a Master’s Degree in Public Health Informatics final year student at Makerere University School of Public Health.
